TYCO ( India ) Private Limited was established in the year 1977 with the establishment of the factory at Calcutta for production of Size Reduction equipment such as Double Toggle Jaw Crushers, Pulverisers, Air Classifiers, and Electromagnetic Vibrators. In 1983, TYCO pioneered the concept of automatic weighing in India with technical support from GREIF-Velox of Germany establishing a second factory in Nagpur. TYCO has supplied automatic weighing systems in India and abroad for applications ranging from lumpy and granular to fine powders upto a fineness of 10 microns. The end users who use our systems are Sugar, Chemicals, Polyester Chips, Refractory Manufacturers, and Mineral Processors, Fertilizers, Spices, Cattle Feed, Deoiled Cakes, Sponge Iron, Rice Exporters, Flour, Pigment, Calcined Bauxite, Titanium Dioxide etc. In 2000 the manufacturing operations were consolidated in Nagpur and Tyco became a part of the UD Group of Companies. In 2004, the facilities at Nagpur factory were expanded and the manufacture of UDAIR range of compressors was started in association with Ingersoll-Rand . This range gives the customer in India the option to purchase a globally accepted quality product at very a competitive price.
